What I am allergic to

Fantastically Blonde asked some good questions about my allergies, and so I thought I would share with the blogging world my allergy saga.

I developed allergies that drove me the allergist when I was in college, although I probably had some of the allergies before college, but never really noticed it other than a runny nose.

Known allergies
Update: I forgot, Dog , Cats and most other animals with fur

I think those are the main ones. I took Seldane until that went off the market, I've tried Claritin and Benedryl as well, but all of the above only really seem to solve the problem temporarily.
I am currently on zyrtec and it really doesn't end up doing that much either.
I am year round runny nose, the last time I talked to an allergist, I was asked if my nose was always that congested. Yes I can barely breathe through my nose most days. In the summer, I feel as though I should invest in Puffs of Kleenex.

I don't know if there is a solution to the problem or not, possibly shots, maybe a new medication.
I really have learned to tolerate the year round stuff, its when the trees bloom that I really end up hatting spring/summer and wish I lived in the Desert.

Friday Flood

My morning didn't start off so well. I woke up late. Brushed my teeth and got in the shower. Upon emerging from the shower 1o minutes later, I found my bathroom floor all wet. Did I not close the door to the shower tightly? No, the sink was still running and because it doesn't drain quick enough it had flooded. I turned it off and began cleaning up the mess with towels. Now my bathroom is filled with wet towels, oh the joy. I blame it on allergies since I went to bed at 10.

I watched the pilot of Lost again last night, I borrowed the first season of LOST which I haven't watched from My sister and her fiancee. We watched the Pilot and one episode. I need to watch the whole first season before June so I can return it to her. I don't think that should be a problem.

Gym last night was good. I took advice of all the great running minds and didn't run last night, since I have the race tomorrow. Instead I did 20 minutes on the treadmill, of which I jogged about 5 and then 30 minutes on the Eliptical. Total time at gym 50 minutes

This morning after the flood, I did an hour of mall walking. I know since the weather is nice that I could walk outside, but with my allergies a/c and filtered air is always better.
