My husband and I decided not to go to the semi-free concert tomorrow.

Our reasons are many, the time, that it is a weeknight, the fact that we have heard traffic and parking are horrible downtown

and the best one of all that it will mean we can't work out.

Now 3 weeks ago that would have never crossed our minds and although part of me still sort of wants to go, it isn't worth the hassle I don't think.

Biggest Loser Cardio with Warmup and part of cool down 35 minutes
20 Reverse crunches
20 crunches.

YAY shopping

I went ahead and bought crosstrainers and some workout clothes today. Which means I really need to keep motivated as to not to waste this money.

I am also not allowed to shop anymore unless I win money so I you hear me buying anything before my Europe trip, yell at me.

I don't think I slept very well last night, or maybe I just didn't prepare things well for today.

I scrambled this morning to get my breakfast items together and grab my lunch before I left for work.

I thought I grabbed my lean pockets pepperoni sub, but didn't realize until lunch time that I had in fact grabbed the hubby's cheese steak one instead.

I must say after having the cheese steak one that the pepperoni one is much better.

Just a bit ago, I was going to take a moment to record what I had eaten today in my exercise journal, only to realize I forgot that at home too.

I think on days like today, I would forget my head if it wasn't attached.

Couch to 5k

As mentioned in my post last night, I have decided to start the Couch to 5k training program.

For those of you unfamilar with the program, its a two month program that increases your running by the week. You do it 3 times a week.

The first week, which I started last night is

Walk 5 minutes (warm up)
Jog 60 seconds
Walk 90 seconds
Continue the Jog/Walk for 20 minutes

Of course I read this wrong the first time and did 20 minute total. Oops.
Anyway it wasn't so bad, considering I don't run and have never liked to run...i think the only running I ever did was for the president's fitness challenge and that is only 1 mile and I struggled to jog it. I did this inside my apartment and realize that i should probably do it I need to figure out what to wear to do that.

We will see how this goes.

I now know I need a stopwatch of some sort, and running shoes and possibly clothes ro run in....
