Vacation Days 1 and 2

So far my vacation has been pretty relaxing and uneventful.

Yesterday, I had an interview in the morning , which I think went well. Then, since my hubby had the day off (his vacation doesn't officially start until tomorrow) we went to the gym at 11am for 30 minutes and then came home and got ready and went to lunch, after lunch we went to the mall (we were only there a few minutes and decided to leave, my hubby hates shopping, and expecially malls), we then went to Kohls, where I got some new workout clothes on sale and then to Target to get some stuff for our roadtrip. After that we went to the movies. I let my hubby pick the movie, and as a result, I am ashamed to say that I contributed to the box office of Talladega Nights. Anyone who knows me , knows this isn't my type of movie, in fact my hubby admits he owes me big time for going. I feel as though I lost some braincells in the theater.
After the movie we grabbed some dinner and then wandered around the mall again, this time actually doing a bit of shopping.

After that we headed home.

This morning we were supposed to get up early to go running, but I couldn't get up. I have been having a bad allergy attacks lately, with the worst symptom being a scratchy throat.
I ended up going out for a run at about 11 am after doing some work. ..yes i know I am on vacation , but somethings won't get done unless I do them from home. *no more work i promise*

The temperature for my run was about 70 degrees and in the shade if felt quite lovely, so I modified my usual route and stayed in the shady side streets near my house. I ran for about 25 minutes with a 4 minute walking warmup and at10 minute walking cool down.

Average pace include walking segments 14 minutes
total distance including walking 2.5 miles
total time: 35 minutes

I'm glad that your interview went well. I was wondering. Hope that you allergies improve for the rest of your vacay. Have fun!

Also glad to hear the interview went well. Even if you decide that where you are at is better for now, these interviews are a great thing for you to do and I'm proud of you. Meanwhile, working at home when you know it makes the transition back from vacation...while it's not right (NOT RIGHT!) it's certainly understandable. Now you can leave and have a vacation without something hanging over your head.
