lessons learned

So after being in a wedding for the first time this weekend , I have learned the following
1. Being a bride might possibly be easier then being a bridesmaid.
2. Summer is a good time for weddings, but it sure is hot.
3. Its easy to get yourself worked up over the little things, and forget the bigger picture.

So a funny note about me being in this wedding, somehow on the day of the wedding I managed to forget to bring my dress with me and then after I called my husband to bring me the dress at the hair salon....only 30 minutes later as I went to pay did I realize that I also forgot my wallet at home...boy was my husband not happy with me then.

All in all the wedding went splendid and we had a good time.

couldn't agree more with that bridesmaid vs. bride thing.

You'd think it'd be harder to be the bride but sometimes bridesmaid-dom just plain sucks. Depends on the bride though.

I guess it is good that you thought it was easier being a bride. Must be that I was doing something right! (Because the number one maid of honor duty is to keep the bride happy)
